To znamená menej súkromia a menej samostatnosti.
Inklúzia začína porozumením. Rešpekt, otvorenosť a ochota komunikovať môžu odstrániť bariéry. Spolu vytvorme mesto, ktoré patrí všetkým.
Nie bariéry, ale príležitosti.
English version:
Social Barriers Faced by Deaf People
Imagine living in a city… but much of the world around you is silent.
Deaf people face social barriers every day. Not because they cannot hear, but because society often does not understand their needs.
Everyday conversations in an elevator, at a bus stop, or in a café are often inaccessible to deaf people. As a result, they may feel isolated and lonely.
City events and leisure activities often fail to consider the needs of deaf people. Without sign language interpretation, they can feel excluded.
When visiting a doctor or a government office, they often need the assistance of another person. This means less privacy and less independence.
Inclusion begins with understanding. Respect, openness, and a willingness to communicate can break down these barriers. Together, let’s create a city that belongs to everyone.
Not barriers, but opportunities.
