Hlásenia v rozhlase: Na staniciach a v autobusoch sa zmeny oznamujú iba hlasom. Ak chýbajú svetelné tabule s textom, nepočujúci nevedia, že vlak mešká alebo zmenil nástupište.
Nebezpečenstvo: Keď horí alebo hrozí nebezpečenstvo, v meste znejú sirény. Nepočujúci ich nepočujú. Potrebujú vidieť blikajúce svetlá alebo dostať SMS správu.

Travel and Public Transport
Audio announcements: At train stations and on buses, changes are often announced only by loudspeaker. If there are no electronic display boards with text, deaf people may not know that a train is delayed or has changed platforms.
Emergency warnings: In emergencies, cities use sirens to warn people of danger. Deaf people cannot hear these sirens. They need visual alerts, such as flashing lights, or emergency notifications sent by SMS.
